ELF's eyeshadow and blush brushes are amazing - very soft, sturdy, no shedding, and gets the job done. It's also only 100 something at SM department stores, so it's perfect to start out with. The Charm brushes can be bought at beautyandminerals.multiply.com. I haven't tried the others but my sister has the travel kit, and she's really happy with it. Hope this helps!
