Where do you go ukay shopping in Cubao? You are so lucky! I am also a bit on the heavy side and I am always unlucky when it comes to these things. Most of the items that I see/like in ukay-ukay stores are too small for me that’s why I have given up on them. Reading this blog post of yours inspired me! I guess after this i’ll be visiting ukay shops again (:

That bag! It’s sold at Hong Kong street markets for around 3x of the price you got it. Saw it in January this year. Cool!

Ooh, sige ba! Let’s go! :D Yeah, there are times when I spend hours at an ukay and find nothing I like, but there are also times when I find lots of keepers. It’s just a matter of luck, really. Lemme know when you’re free! :D

The racks of clothes in Baguio were daunting indeed! Maybe I couldn’t get decent tops because I eventually got lazy to sift through the clothes. I don’t normally buy jeans in ukay, but it helped that I was looking for an uncommon color. In the rack that I looked at, there were only three or four pairs of gray jeans.

I simply love reading ukay hauls! Your post made me miss Baguio ukays very much. You described it perfectly though: rickety! My sister with allergies cant stand to enter those but I find them so fun. Like a crazy maze!

You’re so matiyaga to actual buy jeans in ukay. I find it so daunting to look through all of those racks!

It sucks that you were sort of disappointed though. I hope you have better luck in Cubao :)
