My boyfriend took my pictures for our rather cheesy Ukay Manila Valentine’s day ad, and I thought it was a shame that I didn’t get to use the outtakes. So I posted them here cos I think I look rather nice, and so do the necklaces I was modeling! They’re all handmade by Lizz and available for purchase at the Ukay Manila Store’s Trinket Box. As for my fez, my goal was to come up with a look that would match a brown and pink dress I’d be wearing that night; I was going to meet my girlfriends shortly after and had no time to redo my makeup. So I turned to the golds and browns in my Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows and got busy!

My lips were actually more like a pink neutral than a fuchsia; I don’t know why this particular lipstick/plumper combination looks so freaking pink in photos. Not that I’m complaining though. These batch of photos inspired me to overcome my fear of pink lipstick and buy a tube of Nyx Round Lipstick in Louisiana, which is a very vivid pink. Stay tuned for my review!
