Hello! My name is Lauren. I’m an SEO analyst, columnist for the Philippine Star’s Unblogged, and the owner of the online store Ukay Manila (currently for sale). I wouldn’t call myself addicted to makeup, because I’m not. I do have a weakness for lipstick, and I am kind of addicted to fashion. I love statement necklaces, loud prints, and bright colors. And SHOES. I think I have too many clothes, but that’s okay. When I’m not shopping or blogging, I’m probably watching horror movies, playing video games, or eating out with my boyfriend.
This blog is a personal style diary and a chronicle of beauty products that work (or don’t work) for me. I started writing this on December 2009 after I developed a curiosity for makeup and its proper application. Today, most of my blog is dedicated to my first love, fashion, as well as my bargain finds, shopping adventures, and the evolution of my personal style. In case you’re wondering, this is why I call my blog I am Bourgeois. (I’m sorry the URL is so hard to spell.)
